@bengus sent me this when I told him I was selling my Dutch electro vinyls with the guidance “never give up on your dreams.” @bengus is a hero to me.

I’m pretty sure watching this show with my dad in the 70’s is what made me into the nerd I am now. Seriously awesome television.

Here, I found this on an old DVD-RAM last winter and just stumbled across it again tonight while copying things to the Drobo. It’s around 20 minutes excerpted from a live performance by String Theory at the now closed Hot House on Balbo St. in Chicago.
I think this was performed on two MPC3000s, Nord Modular, Moog Rogue, Moogerfooger delays, Waldorf 4-pole analog filter, Moogerfooger lowpass filter, Alesis Midiverb and Alesis Wedge. I love that I don’t know what year it was but I do know what all the gear was.
The tunes are Treasurust Part 1, a bit of an unfinished oRSo remix, Treasurust Part 2, and Program Cracker Override

I am a big fan of bands who put their stems online for “collaboration” with anyone who cares to fuck up their masterpiece.
This could use a bit of an edit but I really like most of the parts in spite of clunky transitions.

Old Spice commercials are so great I nearly feel bad I will never buy any of their stuff.
Yes. Exactly. No amount of genius advertisements are ever going to get me to use deodorant in lieu of cologne. But kudos to that agency because they make the best ads on television.
